Some developers aim to make as much money as possible from the sale of their mobile applications, but for many businesses, the goal is to just get the app installed in the first place. For that demographic, the new App Discovery Network from OfferMobi could prove to be a golden ticket.
The network operates on a non-incentivized cost per install (CPI) system where the app developers only pay when a mobile user chooses to install the application. This could prove useful for businesses like group buying sites (e.g., Groupon, Living Social, and so on) where the app could be used to drive more sales and increase revenue.
The App Discovery Network works in stark contrast to incentivized CPI networks, because it helps to ensure that the user is actually interested in the app itself and not just the incentive. This provides a greater focus on “intent,” rather than “incent,” working to build “loyal users and life time value by focusing on real users who care about your app and are more likely to tell others, prompting true organic growth.”
“we are excited to launch the OfferMobi App Discovery Network, which is geared toward providing app developers with a cost-effective platform for achieving new levels of high quality installs and customer conversions,” said Mark Roth, OfferMobi CEO.
To promote the launch of the App Discovery Network, OfferMobi is offering 50 free installs to developers who register for the beta starting today. The network currently only works with iOS devices, but the Android variant is in the works.
